Russell Kightley has been involved in medical and scientific illustration since 1981 and has used high end computer paint systems since 1985. He worked at Stanford University (Medical Center) in California in the early 80s and studied at the Australian National University (Graduate Diploma in Electronic Arts in 1997). His illustrations have been widely published around the world. He has many years experience making medical videos (scripting, directing and illustrating). Productions he worked on won 42 INTERNATIONAL FILM & VIDEO AWARDS (35 as director, including Silver at The British Medical Association and Gold at Worldfest Houston). His first award was a CINE Golden Eagle in 1984. He's been writing science fiction since 1994.


Russell Kightley Media was set up in Canberra, Australia, in 1991. RKM.COM.AU started in 1998 and grew to over 700 pages. Here's a site map.
